  1. Candyce, this was a beautiful post about your flowers and the important spiritual habits we should cultivate to grow closer to God! I agree that weeding out sin is the least favorite of my chores, but I love to sprinkle my day with prayer!

    1. Thank you Kathy. When it comes to weeding (sin), I have to remind myself that the hard work often yields the best and longest-lasting results. I have to weed today – I’ve put it off all week.

  2. As a flower lover and farm girl, I loved your message, Candyce. Your guidelines for nurturing our relationship with our Father are right on target. I continue to be amazed at the lessons we can learn from God’s Creation on a daily basis. I get so much joy and blessing from working in in my flowers. God doesn’t just bless me with the beauty which results, but the process (hard work, planting, weeding, watering, dead-heading, and preparing for the next season) all provide so much insight into our Lord and our relationship with Him. Thank you for this inspiring message.

    1. Thanks, Katherine. I attempted to share this link as part of my newsletter last month, but for reasons beyond my ability to understand, the link did not show.

      Always appreciate hearing from you!
